We are now open for day visitors 7 days a week with a variety of tour options ranging from 1.5 – 4 hours in length.
For overnight guests, most of these activities / tours are included.
All tours also include either a cup of our own organic, shade-grown coffee or a juice.
Our restaurant is open for you to purchase breakfast, lunch or dinner – featuring delicious and fresh farm-to-table meals, our stone oven Pizza, and of course, some traditional Nicaraguan cuisine.
Hours of operation for day tours are 7:00am – 4:00pm from Monday – Sunday.
As we have limited space, we recommend booking tours in advance to secure your spots.

Coffee & Honey Tasting Tour
This tour delves into the rich coffee history of the area and the process for producing coffee. After a short walk through the coffee production areas of the estate, we will take you through our agroforestry area, which is the perfect way to explore the symbiosis between food production and nature. You will visit one of our bee colonies and even get the chance to taste the honey straight from the hive along with our own Vera coffee.

Farm Tour
This tour takes you through the everyday activities of the sprawling Vera Angelita estate that make this a nearly fully self-sustaining property. Meet our horses, chickens, ducks, goats…even water buffalo! We’ll also explore our greenhouses and production gardens, demonstrating our organic and specialty farming methods.

Birdwatching Tour
Home to more than 250 species of birds, you can spot hummingbirds, toucans, parrots, hawks, vultures and more at the Vera Eco-Resort. This tour is best enjoyed in the early mornings or evenings. Our guide will accompany you on this trek and challenge you to spot as many as you can!

Mountain Peak Hike
