Come experience the majestic beauty of the cloud forest! We are now open for day visitors with a variety of tour options ranging from 1.5 – 4 hours in length. These activities are included for overnight guests (*2-night minimum).
All tours also include either breakfast or lunch at our onsite dining facility, which serves healthy, organic, farm-to-table meals. All of our food is vegetarian or vegan (*please note that we do NOT prepare or serve any meat, fish, etc.).

Horseback Riding Tour
Our guided horseback riding tours will lead you through our beautifully crafted trails to see the farm, gardens, and natural beauty of the land.

Coffee & Honey Tasting Tour
This tour delves into the rich coffee history of the area and the process for producing coffee. After a short walk through the coffee production areas of the estate, we will take you through our agroforestry area, which is the perfect way to explore the symbiosis between food production and nature. You will visit one of our bee colonies and even get the chance to taste the honey straight from the hive along with our own Vera coffee.

Farm Tour
This tour takes you through the everyday activities of the sprawling Vera Angelita estate that make this a nearly fully self-sustaining property. Meet our horses, chickens, ducks, goats…even water buffalo! We’ll also explore our greenhouses and production gardens, demonstrating our organic and specialty farming methods.

Birdwatching Tour
Home to more than 250 species of birds, you can spot hummingbirds, toucans, parrots, hawks, vultures and more at the Vera Eco-Resort. This tour is best enjoyed in the early mornings or evenings. Our guide will accompany you on this trek and challenge you to spot as many as you can!

With a goal of one day hosting the largest variety of orchids and being the premier botanical garden in Nicaragua, we have already amassed an impressive collection. Mountain Peak Hike
